Terms and Conditions for Nord Bazar

Nord Bazar is the commercial designation of the webshop nordbazar.dk.
2. General
These terms and conditions apply to all purchases made on nordbazar.dk.
By placing an order, you accept these terms and conditions.
To shop on nordbazar.dk, you must be 18 years of age or older or otherwise have the legal right to enter into the purchase, for example with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
Before submitting the order, the customer has the opportunity to review and correct any errors in the information entered.
We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions on an ongoing basis. The terms applicable at any given time are available on the website.
3. Products and Food Safety
Nord Bazar mainly sells non-perishable food products and groceries, such as dry goods, canned foods, snacks, and similar products.
These products do not require refrigeration or freezing.
Fyn Group is registered with the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration and complies with applicable rules on food safety, hygiene, and labeling.
Inspection reports from the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration can be found via the mandatory Smiley link on the website.
Customers are encouraged to always read the ingredients list and product information on the packaging, especially in cases of allergies or food intolerances.
Nord Bazar cannot be held liable for allergic reactions or individual food intolerances if the product’s ingredients list is correctly stated on the packaging.
4. Prices
All prices are stated in Danish kroner (DKK) and include 25% VAT, unless otherwise stated.
The total price, including VAT and any delivery costs, is clearly displayed before payment is completed.
We reserve the right for:
- typographical errors
- price changes from suppliers
- changes in taxes, duties, and legislation
Price changes do not affect orders already confirmed.
5. Ordering and Payment
When you place an order, you will receive an automatic order confirmation by e-mail.
A binding purchase agreement is considered concluded when Nord Bazar sends an order confirmation to the customer by e-mail.
Payment can be made using the payment methods shown on the website, for example payment cards or MobilePay.
The amount will only be charged to the customer’s payment card when the goods are dispatched from our warehouse.
Nord Bazar does not store the customer’s card details. Payments are processed via secure and encrypted payment systems in accordance with applicable EU rules, including the PSD2 Directive.
6. Delivery
We normally process and dispatch orders within 1–2 business days.
We use recognized carriers such as:
- DAO
- GLS
- Bring
Delivery times are indicative and may vary depending on the carrier, season, and logistical conditions.
Delivery is considered completed when the parcel has been delivered to the customer’s address or to the selected parcel shop.
The risk of loss or damage to the goods passes to the customer upon delivery.
If a parcel is not collected from a parcel shop within the carrier’s deadline, we reserve the right to deduct the return shipping costs from the refunded amount.
7. Right of Withdrawal
As a consumer, you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance sales in accordance with the Danish Consumer Contracts Act.
However, special rules apply to food products.
According to Section 18(2)(5) of the Danish Consumer Contracts Act, the right of withdrawal does not apply to sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, if the seal has been broken after delivery.
For unopened goods, you may exercise the right of withdrawal by notifying us no later than 14 days after receipt.

You may use our standard withdrawal form at the bottom of these terms and conditions.
8. Returns
If you exercise your right of withdrawal, the goods must be returned without undue delay and no later than 14 days after you notified us of the withdrawal.
The following conditions apply:
- The customer must pay for the return shipping
- The goods must be unopened and in their original packaging
- The goods must be packed securely
Returns are made at the customer’s risk until the goods have been received by us.
Refunds will be made no later than 14 days after we have received and inspected the returned goods.
Refunds will generally be made using the same payment method that was used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed.
9. Right to Complain
In accordance with the Danish Sale of Goods Act, consumers have a 24-month right to complain.
For food products, however, the right to complain is limited to the product’s natural shelf life and stated expiry date.
Complaints must be made within a reasonable time after the defect has been discovered.
A complaint made within 2 months will always be considered timely.

10. Damaged or Incorrect Goods
If the customer receives:
- damaged goods
- incorrect goods
- goods with manufacturing defects
the customer is asked to contact customer service as soon as possible.
In the event of visible transport damage, we recommend contacting us within 48 hours and attaching photos of both the packaging and the goods.
11. Personal Data
To shop with us, the customer must provide:
- name
- address
- phone number
We process personal data confidentially and in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Personal data is only disclosed to third parties to the extent necessary to complete the delivery, such as carriers or payment providers.

12. Limitation of Liability
Nord Bazar (Fyn Group) is not liable for indirect losses or consequential damages, unless such liability follows from mandatory Danish law.
The company is also not liable for delays or failure to perform agreements due to force majeure, including:
- natural disasters
- strikes
- war
- transport disruptions
- IT or system failures at third parties
This does not affect the customer’s statutory rights as a consumer.
13. Complaints Procedure
If you wish to complain about your purchase, you must first contact our customer service.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
Any dispute relating to purchases made on nordbazar.dk shall be governed by Danish law.
Any disputes shall be settled by the Danish courts, unless otherwise required by mandatory EU consumer law.
